He also called on Congress to re-instate a ban on military-style assault weapons ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition and to approve universal background checks on anyone purchasing a gun of any kind. Those checks would include private sales auctions and even gun shows.Even before the President_s speech gun lobbyists had been voicing their displeasure over tougher gun rules. In particular the National Rifle Association which has released a controversial commercial aimed at the Presidentis family.For his part the President did not address the attack ad. Among the executive actions announced Wednesday was the nomination for a director for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. Beck says he was fed up with watching jean manufacturers packing up to head overseas and so he decided to do something about it. An American venture called The Falcon Project has announced that it will use a 45 foot airship to track wait for it... BIGFOOT. Oh yes my friends the truth is out there and the Aurora Mk 2 Airship will find it... eventually. At least that_s the hope of gold dredger and Falcon Project founder William Barnes. Barnes claims to have seen Bigfoot in 1997. The helium airship will use thermal imaging and high res cameras over the California mountains to locate the hairy beast. Our coverage today begins in the US where ten banks have struck a massive settlement with federal regulators for wrongfully foreclosing on millions of homeowners in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. While the mortgage-abuse agreement should benefit many citizens nationwide some still feel that the banks may have gotten the better end of the deal. There_s lots to cover so let_s turn things over to Eila Adams with all the details. What_s going on Eila.EA) Vic 8.5 billion dollars - that_s the amount Bank of America JPMorgan Chase Wells Fargo and a handful of other financial institutions will pay to settle charges on a number of mortgage violations. 3.3 billion of that figure will go to homeowners and END reviews of controversial foreclosures. The other 5.2 billion will be put towards mortgage bills and the outstanding principal on home sales. An estimated 400-thousand homeowners will be eligible for restitution payments.And in a separate deal Bank of America has agreed to pay 10.3 billion to US government mortgage agency Fannie Mae. The money is compensation for mortgage-backed investments that went bad during the housing crash. 3.6 billion will go directly to Fannie Mae with Bank of America buying back around 30-thousand loans worth 6.75 billion dollars.EA) Despite the huge sums being paid out Vic consumer advocates aren_t happy about this deal.VS) And why exactly is that Eila? EA) Well if you take the 3.3 billion being paid out directly to home owners and divvy it up it works out to around 865 dollars per person. VS) It_s not exactly a proper reimbursement for losing your home is it? EA) Not at all. On top of that critics call the settlement a get out of jail free card. Rather than having each of the foreclosures looked at individually by investigators they all just get swept away. VS) Like it or not a review that_s been going on for the better part of two years comes to a close. Thanks for the insight Eila.

In February gamers can download Dawnguard Hearthfire and Dragonborn n and itill be 50-percent off during the first week Crystal Dynamics - the studio behind the ìTomb Raideri reboot - has confirmed they WONiT be releasing a demo prior to the gameis March 5th release date. Not because itis BAD but because they donit want to spoil too much of the story before the game drops. Or at the very least thatis what they WANT us to think. Rumor has it that when Sony releases the PS4 theyill retire their legendary ìDualShocki controller. That means itis sayonara for the rumbling controller thatis been a company trademark for 16 years. Some people are suggesting the new controller will have a touch screen or Playstation Move integration.And now for this weekis review n ìDMC n Devil May Cryi for multiple platforms. Itis a reboot of the series so there are a lot of angry fanboys out there who are complaining about it being new and different. Those people are whiners - this is a solid game. Youire Dante half demon half angel all badass. Youive got to hack slash and shoot your way through Limbo City. Firstly this is a gorgeous looking game. Combat is a lot of fun as well with a couple of minor gripes: By pressing one trigger you can use ìDemon Formi weapons. The other trigger is for ìAngel Formi weapons n which means you_ve got a lot of cool moves at your disposal. But picking between Demon and Angel tactics can also confuse you in the midst of battle. Another minor complaint is that the game automatically locks onto enemies meaning sometimes you canit hit the baddie that you want to. The story is dark and engrossing which is always a plus. Fans of the series and newbies should ALL check this title out. ìDMC n Devil May Cryi gets 4 out of 5 Naked Ns.
