Police were waiting for him when he landed and he_s been charged with one count of mischief. No doubt Borea feels like the night he spent in jail was well worth the publicity he received. There_s trouble a-brewin_ on Reddit So far more than 200-thousand Redditors have signed an online petition calling for the resignation of Ellen Pao, the site_s interim chief executive. The reason? Ms. Pao gave the heave-ho to Victoria Taylor, the uber-popular director of talent behind the site_s well-known Ask Me Anything subreddit. As retaliation, hundreds of other subreddit pages on topics including science, gaming, history, and cinema were shut down in protest. Someone NOT a corpse as of now is Betty White The possibly immortal actress will be turning NINETY-SIX on Wednesday, and she was recently asked by Parade Magazine what the secret was to her happiness and longevity. Her more poignant answer was Enjoy life. Accentuate the positive, not the negative. Then she noted that she also loves vodka and hot dogs, quote, probably not in that order. Oh, Betty, I hope when I_m your age, I_m still going strong... though maybe OUT of showbiz Brad Pitt doesn_t seem like someone who_d need to pay people to hang out with him... but the actor nearly spent 120 THOUSAND DOLLARS to get a couple to watch Game of Thrones with him Now, to be fair, it was for charity. Playboy Enterprises_ chief executive reportedly wants to shift the firm_s emphasis away from publishing and focus more on branding and licensing. Not coincidentally, it also looks like Hugh Hefner_s heirs will be unloading their remaining stake in the company to majority shareholder Ritzi Traverse. Information for over 400 million accounts may have been exposed, making it one of the largest breaches in history Sites operated by the company include Adult Friend Finder, Cams.com, iCams.com, and Stripshow.com, and they used to run Penthouse.com as well Nearly 340 million of the compromised accounts are for Adult Friend Finder, which bills itself as the World_s Largest Sex & Swinger Community. Two West Virginia women, including a small town mayor, are under fire for a racist Facebook post about Michelle Obama Pamela Ramsey Taylor, the director of the nonprofit Clay County Development Corporation, posted It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House. The cliche of stashing your cash in a Swiss bank account to avoid detection is no more 80 banks in Switzerland have agreed to pay the US government 1 point 3 billion dollars in fines for hiding US funds in offshore accounts. The penalties relate to more than 34 thousand accounts holding upwards of 48 BILLION dollars. As part of the deal, the banks will avoid prosecution in exchange for cooperating with any future criminal proceedings against the account holders. And investors are giving Facebook_s latest financial report a big LIKE The tech giant announced a profit of 1 point 6 BILLION in the last 3 months of 2015, more than double the same period last year. Most of that money is coming from MOBILE ads, which now make up 80 percent of Facebook_s earnings. The introduction of chip-enabled debit and credit cards to the US market is already paying off Retailers accepting the new payment method reported a drop of up to 18 PERCENT in counterfeit transactions in the last quarter of 2015. Meanwhile, merchants WITHOUT the technology saw an 11 percent INCREASE in fraud. The chip-embedded cards are generally considered a more secure form of payment because they generate a unique code for each transaction.
