But this doesn't detract at all from its sequel, which was made 13 years later and not released until two years after that, in 1986, right in the middle of the Reagan-era AIDS crisis. Still, "Boys in the Sand II," originally released as "Men in the Sand II," not only stands on its own as a film for its time, for condoms are sometimes used (though cum is eaten) it also succeeds brilliantly as both a film and porn. Indeed, I think it's a better porn flick than the original, though it may lack just a bit of the style of the first one.
