In "Back to Freedom" you are an ex-military man who made a mistake during a mission and caused the death of several allies. The consequences were harsh and you were sentenced to ten years in prison. When you are finally released, you just want to live a peaceful life again. But will the past let you live in peace?
The game is a visual novel style made in Twine/HTML with several choices to be made, a basic character stat system that builds up according to your choices, a money system, minigames, lots of fully interactive content released according to your choices and stats, and a fully functional replay gallery.

- Improved the avatar system in dialog boxes. Before this change, most men's dialog boxes used a generic silhouette image. Now, most dialog boxes in the game use the characters' images.
- Added some avatar options to choose from at the beginning of the game for the main char. You can also change your avatar at any time in the options menu now.
Note: If you load an old save, you won't see any images in your dialog box, since the variable that defines the avatar is a new feature. To fix this, just open the options menu and choose your avatar.
- Replaced some old images with new ones like Joseph, Junior, the security team, the main gun, working out at the gym, and a few more.
