Maria started this exceptional trip to the Netherlands in a small village right before the border. On a small parking lot, close by the city hall, she took her clothes off and changed into nothing but a coat. 'Now I am ready to go ...' she said.
A short stop at the riverside and the bridge, very close to the border and for quite some time now there are no border controls between Germany and the Netherlands as you can see (pics 023-026).
Our destination for that day was the first bigger city in the Netherlands. A bench in a small park right in the city center invited her for a short break.
Then she went on, heading towards the shopping area of town, where many people were busily shopping ... and once again she found a bench for resting ...
