Part one of two. Dr. Vibrato has escaped custody and revived his research into sonic vibrations and the science of using frequencies to control peoples_ actions. As we pick up this story, we first see Wonder Woman as she sneaks around the perimeter of Vibrato_s isolated and eerie HQ - unaware that he and one of his masked bodyguards are watching her on a monitor in his office, laughing at her vain attempts to avoid detection. In due time, Wunder Woman finds an unlocked door and gains access to the HQ itself. Though the place appears suspiciously deserted, she pays it no mind. She is focused on only one thing: finding Vibrato as soon as possible. To this end she searches one room after another - until she steps into a small hallway. There her progress is thwarted as the door through which she entered suddenly slams shut and locks behind her. The door ahead of her likewise locks. Startled, trapped, Wunder Woman desperately batters against the doors to open them - but her effort is to no avail. Some moments later, over a loud-speaker, Vibrato gives Wunder Woman a mocking welcome. She responds by telling him where to go. Then, all of sudden, as Vibrato breaks in to a laugh, the hallway floor gives out beneath Wunder Woman. She falls several meters down a trap door, coming to land with a thud and a role on a platform where Vibrato_s bodyguard stands waiting with menacing intent. Wunder Woman does not want to fight the big meathead, but she has no choice. In the spirited struggle that ensues, the bodyguard only manages to get the better of Wunder Woman by zapping her in the crotch with a special weapon that the Doctor has created. It is a sonic vibrator that emits shock waves, acting like a taser. It scrambles Wunder Woman_s nervous system, makes her convulse as if being electrocuted, and eventually causes her to slump to the floor - dazed and utterly unable to move. In such helpless condition, the Amazing Amazon duly falls victim to the lascivious attentions of the bodyguard.
