Gas prices in the US are at levels not seen in about 4 YEARS The average price at the pump has dropped by a dollar since May. Regular-grade gasoline is selling for two dollars and seventy-two cents a gallon on average with the lowest prices in Albuquerque and the highest in San Francisco. The drop is attributed to lower overall demand along with rising oil production in North America and a stronger US dollar. Prices are expected to drop even further into the new year. The third alarm chlorine gas leak happened at the Hyatt Regency O_Hare during the annual Midwest Furfest Convention. It_s an annual event where people dress us as animal characters. 19 people were sent to hospital. Police say it appears to be an intentional act and are treating it as a criminal investigation. On the plus side the thousands of convention attendees weren_t affected by the cold thanks to their furry costumes.
