He then JUMPED OFF his boat swam over to the carcass and SAT on it-pretty much ignoring the fact that several SHARKS were circling the area The act was captured on video and it IMMEDIATELY went viral.To say Williams was taking a risk is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Drinking milk the day after it_s expired-THAT_S a risk. Choosing to not use sunscreen on a scorching hot day-not particularly smart either. But diving into shark-infested waters to sit on top of a dead whale-THAT_S just plain DUMBWilliams claimed he thought the whale was in distress and was trying to help it. Yeah right. According to several sources the nearly 40-foot carcass had been floating in the ocean for WEEKS. Clearly Williams was after a little thrill-seeking adventure-and it very nearly backfired The Aussie is reportedly an extreme-sports enthusiast. Well he was playing the most DANGEROUS game of all this time around. Hope that adrenaline rush was worth it Given the WORLDWIDE negative attention Williams has received I_m going to go out on a limb and say it wasn_t.A spokesperson for Australia_s Department of Fisheries summed it up like this: 99 percent of the population would see that behavior as irresponsible. I guess Williams can count himself among that ONE per cent who thought this was a completely reasonable and logical thing to do. Williams very nearly earned himself a DARWIN Award with his inexplicably stupid decision. While he was unsuccessful at taking himself out of the gene pool he DEFINITELY got the nod for an even MORE dubious distinction-our BOOB of the Week
