Audio & Animation
Added sounds to the new Hilde scene - Against the wall.
Added sounds to the Rose blowjob scene.
Updated the animations of the newest Hilde scene, making the transition smoother.
Quests
Daily challenges are now available, starting from day 2. Currently we only have “Find the chests” challenge that gives gold reward, the position of the chests reset every day.
Side - quest with the new slave Agatha, it will have a follow-up where you have to free her from the cage and kill her owner, then decide what to do with her (non linear).
Added a quest between “Bow training” and “Deer hunting”, where Alvilda shows you the new blacksmith zone and how to upgrade your bow.
We have improved the quest system a lot, now the quest items can spawn objects in the world or give items to your inventory.
Upgrades
Weapon upgrade system (health upgrade coming in the next patch). It’s tier - based and it only shows the items you have in your inventory, so when you unlock a new weapon it will be available for upgrading starting from Tier 0, the current weapons go up to Tier 3, increasing the damage they deal.
Characters
New asian slave - Mika, her dialogues and animations are still work in progress, but you can see her in game.
6 variations of english warriors that you can see on the docks, in the next patch they will be enemies that you can fight.
Terrain & Vegetation
You might have noticed that the terrain was flat where the ocean is, so we carved it to make it possible to add swimming mechanics and some kind of vegetation and ocean animals in the future. All of the invisible colliders around the island were removed.
We had to generate the vegetation again (different placement of trees, rocks etc) and we replaced on of the trees with a better model - Norway Spruce.
Extended the beach, so we can add some vegetation there as well.
Added a small erosion and a couple of hills to the island, so it doesn’t look flat.
Others
Item & Gold rewards to the people, who play the Baron and Emperor build.
The slaves cost gold, they are no longer free.
Improved the navigation quality - increased the simulation speed from 20 fps to 30 (characters will generate smoother paths)
Saving & Loading for items that could be looted (like the new daily challenge for chests)
Added steam particle effects to the springs.
Added campfire particle effects.
Models that perform actions on interaction if you own a certain item (for example the cage door will open if you have a key in your inventory).
Added underwater camera effects.
