Suppose (hypothetically, asking for a friend) you wanted to stage a break-in to your own home. Maybe there's something you don't want
any more, can't sell for whatever reason, but you know, insurance and shit. Could you get someone in? Like hire a robber to break in,
steal the stuff, give you the perfect alibi? Do you think you could specify what they'd do to you? Like tie you up and stuff? Maybe even gag you? Strip you naked even - no-one would do that to themselves if they were just doing it for an alibi, surely? Maybe he'd even add a crotch rope, that would be really humiliating....
