Elder Allred has the physique, the face, and a countenance that might make anyone standing next to him feel inadequate. Despite this, Elder Allred is among the most compassionate and caring people I know.
What sometimes comes across as stand-offishness (to those who dont know him) is really just a security blanket of sorts, protecting his inner meek-as-a-mouse spirit from the unknown. But once acquainted with Elder Allred, he becomes heart and soul devoted to you, or at least this has been the experience of all the brethren in the order, both young and mature.
Fortunately, this Elders desire to serve covers many different age groups, wherein he takes on many different roles and responsibilities; it really does seem as though Elder Allred loves and serves everyone equally. Furthermore, despite loving everyone, this genuine love"which he gives freely"is uniquely felt and very special to each priesthood holder.
We know he is highly favored in the eyes of God, and we hope you feel as blessed as we do watching Elder Allred take his first steps towards perfection"which some might argue he has already accomplished.
