I've even had some boyfriends in the past who read your magazines and wanted to send my pictures in, but I always told them no. An agent turned in my pictures to you guys. And finally my agent came to me with this offer, and I wanted to think about it. Then I didn't work with him anymore, but you guys tracked me down. And I figured I'm not getting any younger so I might as well do it now." Charlie lives in St. Louis which also celebrates Mardi Gras. "I've become the queen of Mardi Gras. St. Louis is the second largest celebration in the country and trust me, I get bags of beads. I am the bead queen, and there's free drinks and free entrance to clubs. The thing is when you go to Mardi Gras you're not supposed to flash. But the police will even ask you to see and they'll give you beads. But if you're not careful you can get a ticket. But I've never gotten a ticket in all my years of going. It's a three day celebration, and people start drinking early, like at 9 a.m. By four or five in the afternoon they shut down part of downtown and it's just beads, boobs and beer."
