At the beginning of this scene, we see couple, Holly Hendrix and Donnie Rock have a heated argument, one that Donnie's Evelyn Claire hears as she is in the back of the trailer at present. When Donnie leaves, Evelyn comes out to comfort Holy, with whom she has a personal liking. Evelyn knows that Holly deserves better, and has tried to make a move on her in the past, as both note. Evelyn soon comes on to Holly again, and this time, asks Holly to kiss back. She does, and we are underway.
